4 Aussie Brands You Need to Know (#2)
The Australian fashion brands that are doing it right.
I’ve been seeing a lot of discourse about Australian fashion. Namely that the “big dogs” (those from US and Europe) are turning to Australia for fashion inspo. This is particularly as the northern hemisphere preps for summer and are looking at Aussie brands such as DISSH, Kookai, and Mode Mischief. But I know there are soooo many more brands that deserve to be spotlighted. So, here are four Australian brands you need to keep an eye out for.
1. LOVAAN
For tailored feminine pieces, LOVAAN is your go to shop. Their collections are incredibly romantic, and with such a focus on quality, you can guarantee they will last a lifetime in your closet. The Grace Top is by far my favourite with a huge bow made from dusty pink taffeta.

If your looking to stand out, then you need to take a look at by ellen with love. All orders are handmade in Western Australia, and they are currently prepping for the release of the fringe collection. I’m lovinggg the asymmetrical top and of course the fringing tassel is to die for.
3. Melia Ann
My best friend Lucy wears these skirts constantly and they are just so cute! The priority is versatility: reversible and resizable. Each piece can be worn two ways - you can either flip it over to reveal a new pattern, or adjust the length with the buttons. I can vouch that these are the best skirts to travel with.
