Cozy knits, small Australian brands, and Reformation's older sister.
Do I have some goodies for you! My IG explore page has truly been feeding me with the best brands this week, and now is my turn to share.
Surfbird Ballet Flats
Female founded Australian brand, Bared Footwear, has recently been bought to my attention. I need to invest in a proper pair of shoes but I don’t want to sacrifice cuteness for comfort. Luckily, Bared is pediatrist approved and these olive suede mary janes are calling my name!
Sophia Beaded Halter Top Silver Veil
I was scrolling the Hansen & Gretel new arrivals and this top immediately caught my eye. It’s so delicate but sexy with the plunging neckline. I love the sheer fabric and beaded bust.
Maelis Pant in Silk
This one is a goodie because these pants are by AFLALO, Yael Aflalo (aka the founder of Reformation’s brand). Cropped drawstring pant - super chic. I’m loving the lace detail. Overall think these would make a simple comfy outfit that leans into the boho energy.
Xorina Skirt in Mesh
Also from AFLALO is this sheer panelled maxi skirt. It’s everything I need and more. Definitely a statement piece but easily made casual by pairing it with a chunky oversized sweater.
Jeanne Multicoloured Jumper
Just because it’s coming into winter does not mean all the colour has to leave. And I personally love a colourful striped knit (in fact I have 3 from Reformation already). This one is 100% cotton from an Antwerp-based clothing brand called Lewis & Melly.
Giselle Top
I came across Esther Mayy on my IG scroll and instantly fell in love with this top. Major Serena van der Woodsen energy. Gold trim and keyhole back sold it for me.
And a moment for the back…
Julia Mervis was wearing this on the plane and now I need it. I’m lacking a plain cap in my collection (my bright blue Knicks one does not cut it).
Roma Dress
How beautiful is this dress!! I’ve been looking for a new dress to invest in this year. Last year I got good use out of my Selected black satin maxi dress - as in I wore it to every 21st.
Also the scarf is detachable - can be styled as a belt.
The Perfect Weekday Tote
Do I need a new uni bag? No. But do I want a new uni bag? Yes. And right now I’m taken by the Alex Mill monogrammed totes - specifically the natural canvas with cobalt paint.
Will I be buying everything off my wishlist? No. But will I use this to find inspiration with what I already have in my wardrobe? Absolutely.
