why paris?
Paris is a city I keep returning back to. I visited for the first time with my mum for my 12th birthday, and have since been fortunate enough to return to Paris getting to experience its beauty throughout the seasons.
Paris has this gravitational pull that draws you out of your apartment onto the cobblestone streets where friend meet over wine or espresso. I now have gorgeous friends who live there and can show me all the best spots. Hopefully it’s a city I will be lucky enough to end up living in, spending more time discovering its hidden gems.

With a city so big, it is undoubtable that the food scene is top notch.

where to stay
Over the time I’ve spent in Paris, I have stayed in a mix of hotels and airbnbs. I really do think this depends on what the vibe of your trip is though. Sharing the top floor Parisian apartment right off the Champs-Élysées at the end of summer with four girlfriends was a dream come true. Likewise staying in a boutique hotel in Le Marais made shopping conveniently easy.
Le Grand Mazarin - more is more! boutique hotel in Le Marais
Hôtel Particulier - design led hotel in Montmartre
Le Pigalle - funky boutique hotel near Moulin Rouge
Numa - easy and colourful hotel right off Champs-Élysées
Renaissance Paris Republique Hotel - my go to when staying in Le Marais
where to play & shop
On one of my last visits to Paris I met up with a friend studying his Masters over a glass (or two) of wine. I think he perfectly captured the city’s distinct vibe - you’ll find the opportunities like New York but live the lifestyle of Madrid.
No one is surprised when I say the shopping here is unmatched.
Sezane - for the true French it-girl
Kanelle Vintage - hidden gem for curated vintage finds
American Vintage - hit this up every time i’m there
Drôle de Monsieur - cool, retro inspired streetwear
The Broken Arm - boutique of curated designer clothes
Louise Carmen - custom notebooks
Sabre - custom cutlery
Officine Universelle Buly - iconic pharmacy/perfumery
Le Bon Marche - the ultimate department store you could get lost in
Samaritaine, Chimi, CityPharma, Anine Bing, APC Surplus, Sandro Outlet
